On August 29, 2002, the body of Charles Ellis "Tubby" Raines was discovered at his home located at 299 Worth Street, which is located just off of Hwy 123 in Seneca, SC and what was then known as the Town and Country Motel.  Mr. Raines who was 45 years old at the time he was killed, was found shot to death.

 

Investigators discovered during the course of the investigation that Mr. Raines was most likely was killed on August 28, 2002.
